A Vendor Team lets several wedding vendors sell couples one complete wedding package instead of separate services. Here is how it comes together.
One vendor becomes the Team Captain. The Captain, sometimes called the team leader, creates the team listing and chooses and pays for the package.
The Captain invites the others. Everyone invited must already have their own listing on The Aisle. If the vendors you want are not on the site yet, ask them to create a free listing first, then invite them.
Everyone consents by email. Each invited vendor gets an email asking whether they agree to join. Yes and they are in. No and they are left out. Nobody is ever added to a team without agreeing.
Then it goes live. Once at least two vendors have agreed, including the Captain, the listing comes to us for a check and is published. If a team ever drops below two agreed vendors, the listing is set aside until enough have agreed again, then returns on its own.
Everyone keeps their own listing. A team is an extra way to be found, not a replacement. Couples can still hire each of you individually, and you can sit in more than one team.
The money is the part to get right before you start. The Captain pays us for the listing and holds the account. Everything after that, how the wedding package price is split, who invoices the couple, who gets paid when, is entirely between you. The Aisle is not a party to it and does not get involved in disputes about it. So agree the split in writing before the Captain checks out, and form teams with people you would trust with your own money.
