What Is The Difference Between An Account And A Listing?

These are two different things, and mixing them up is the most common early snag.

Your account is your login. An email address and a password. It is the door into the platform.

Your listing is your business profile. The shop window couples actually see, with your photos, your services, your area and your contact details.

You make the account first. Once you are logged in, you create your listing. So the order is: register a free account, then add your listing.

One account can hold more than one business. If you run a decor company and a separate cake business, they can sit under the same login as separate listings. If you later lead or join a Vendor Team, that sits under the same account too.

Why the distinction matters in practice. Your account and your listing have separate lives. Your account stays active regardless of what happens to a listing, so if a paid subscription lapses you can still log in, manage things and renew. And a login problem never means your business has come off the site. If you cannot get in, reset your password rather than creating a second account, because a duplicate account splits your listings and your messages.

Next: decide whether you want a Single Vendor or a Vendor Team listing.
