Open the vendor’s profile. On it you will find their contact options: a button to message them through The Aisle, a phone number, and sometimes a website or social links.
Messaging through the site is usually simplest. You need a free account so the vendor can reply and all your conversations stay in one place instead of scattered across your phone.
Say these five things in the first message. Your wedding date. Where it will be. Roughly how many guests. What you need from them specifically. And your budget range, or at least whether you want their entry option or their full package.
That last one feels awkward and it is the single most useful thing you can include. Vendors quote faster and more honestly when they know the range, and you avoid three days of back and forth ending in a number that was never going to work.
A worked example. “Hi, we are getting married on 14 March 2027 at a garden in Wakiso, around 250 guests. We are looking for full day photography with a second shooter and an album. Are you free, and what would that cost? We have budgeted roughly UGX 3 to 4 million for photography.”
Message several, not one. Three or four in a category is normal and vendors expect it. How they reply tells you a lot: speed, clarity, whether they answer what you actually asked.
